Hua Hin nightlife

Hua Hin is not Patayaa with party 24/7. For night-time entertainment the options are fairly limited. Bars and disco close 02.00 AM. After that there is only some karaoke bars open. They are open to 06.00 AM.

Bars and red light district

There is a collection of "friendly" bars in Hua Hin. They are mainly locatd along the roads leading from the Chatchai market to the beach (off Naretdamri Road and Damnoen Kasem Road). These are among the tamest in Thailand and you can easily avoid the attentions of the girls who work there if it’s not your thing. Hua Hin have no real "red light district", but this area is the liveliest in Hua Hin after dark. Because all bars are located in a small area with a small road between, you get a intimate feeling here. It take you around 5-10 minutes to walk around the hold bar area (marked as red on the map).

Almost every bars show sports on big screens and have pool tables. The music is + 20 years old and normally not to lauded. From time to time you will se families take their children into these bars. Because Hua Hin is the kings holiday place, there is not allowed with "go-go bars" and disco in Hua Hin (only 5-star hotels can have disco). 

If you want a Thai lady from one of this bar, you make the deal with the girl themselves. Normally must you pay a bar-fee for the girl, around 300 bath, then you have to pay the girl. The price for a girl is 1000 bath and up for "short time". Always use condoms. Always!!!

Disco

The only sizeable disco in Hua Hin is in the Hilton hotel, although drinks prices aren’t quite as astronomical as the Hilton’s rooms are. This disco features a live band on most nights and closes at 2am sharp.

Family bars

You find bars everywhere, so the questions is what are you looking for? All 5-star hotel have a nice bar for the guest and other who want to come for a drink in the bar. My favorite here is Hilton, who also have a very good live band playing in the bar every night from kl 21.00. They sing in englich and the band is normally from Phillipins. More simply bars, without "bar girls" is located everywhere outside of the "Red light district area". All bars close between 01-02AM

Kareoke

After 2am you can go to the Kareoke bars, located 50 m from Hilton. This bars is open to 6am every day and is popular for both local Thai girls and tourists.
